| FULBRIGHT-HAYS SEMINAR IN THAILAND |
| Dear Students and Friends, It's a great privilege to be chosen to participate in the Fulbright-Hays Seminar in Thailand. All participants are carefully screened and handpicked because of their prior accomplishments and willingness to promote multicultural awareness in their classrooms and communities. Fifteen K-12 teachers and college/university professors -- TWO from Bainbridge College -- had spent one month in Thailand, soaking the local culture, history, and traditions while tirelessly traveling around the country, talking with Thai people, attending seminars, or simply stepping back and observing the fascinating daily life flowing like a river. Check out our itinerary -- it was packed! I invite you to look at the results of this exciting adventure. You have an advantage -- you will not have to experience a 26-hour trip from Atlanta to Bangkok, jetlag, long days in subtropical climate (feels like 115-120F!!!), sore muscles -- from both walking and sitting, torrential rain, etc. Instead, you will have a painless access to a great wealth of information. There are numerous pictures -- just click on Photos. Click on the icons above to find out more information. In addition, PLEASE use my forum or email to ask questions. Remember -- no questions are dumb questions unless they remain unasked!!! I look forward to hearing from you soon -- maybe even today!!! All the best, Tatyana Pashnyak |
